[uh-vuhng-kyuh-ler]

adjective

of, pertaining to, or characteristic of an uncle: avuncular affection.

He ain’t heavy; he’s my mother’s brother!

I use this one frequently. Mostly because I have had several meaningful relationships with older men. I find them singularly rewarding and well worth having. I do sometimes have to explain their essential nature being platonic, though affectionate. To this I usually say;

No, no. It’s not creepy like that. His feelings for me are totally avuncular.
