[bid-uh-buhl]  adjective

  1.
Cards. adequate to bid upon: a biddable suit.
  2. willing to do what is asked; obedient; tractable; docile: a biddable child.
  3.  that may be acquired by bidding: biddable merchandise.

I told someone a few days ago, given the right circumstances, I am extremely biddable. After expressing their confusion over the meaning of the word, they then claimed they found it hard to believe; my personality seemed far too strong, to their mind, to foster much in the way of obedience.

 Little did they know…

To submit is a sublime and particular pleasure. It frees me of the obligation to wonder, and worry, and plan. I am content to be guided, instructed, and rewarded for my complicity.

This is almost strictly confined to my romantic life, but it is nevertheless a potent and patent truth.
